Weight & Material Allowances for Roll-Off Dumpsters
- Trash
- Allowed weight: 1.5 tons (overage charge will apply if over)
- Allowable material: Household waste, furniture, mattresses, clothes
- Non-allowable material: No liquids, oil, chemicals, paint, tires
- Construction Debris
- Allowed weight: 5 tons (overage charge will apply if over)
- Allowable material: Building materials (shingles, flooring, sheetrock, wood, cabinets), asphalt, masonry, brick/mortar
- Non-allowable material: No liquids, oil, chemicals, paint, buckets, railroad ties
- Concrete (20-yard dumpster only)
- Allowed weight: 10 tons (max) Overloaded dumpsters may be required to be unloaded before they can be picked up for removal.
- Allowable material: Wet or crushed concrete. For wet concrete, liners are required ($75 additional charge)
- Non-allowable material: No wood forms. No rebar or steel.
- Please no concrete or dirt in 30 yard or 40 yard dumpsters.
- Loose Cardboard
- Allowed weight: 10 tons (max)
- Allowable material: Clean cardboard boxes or sheets
- Non-allowable material: No Styrofoam, packing materials, or plastic wrap
- Brush/Trees
- Allowed weight: 10 tons (max)
- Allowable material: Brush, trees, leaves, grass, other yard debris
- Non-allowable material: No household waste
- Steel
- Allowed weight: 10 tons (max)
- Allowable material: Steel, iron, appliances, cars (must have the title), lawnmowers (all fluids removed)
- Non-allowable material: No rebar (must be in a separate dumpster). No machinery with fluids (gas, oil).
